Dear valued donors and patrons, 

Thanks to your generosity, I’m proud to announce that the Yakima Symphony Orchestra met and exceeded our Year-End Match Challenge with $166,439 from 135 donors. 

This campaign started smaller and grew as the Symphony was consistently met with success. Originally, the goal was to gather $100,000 in matching funds, then it grew to $130,000. Finally, weeks after announcing the campaign, a generous anonymous donor was so moved by your abundant support that they offered to match an additional $20,000, bringing the matching funds up to $150,000. 

I have learned a lot since joining the Yakima Symphony Orchestra nine months ago, most poignant of all being that the Yakima Valley is dedicated and generous in their passion for music and music education. As our musicians consistently raise the bar, you match their commitment. 

Whether you gave $20, $20,000 or somewhere in between, thank you for being a part of the Symphony family and for taking part in the rich legacy of orchestral music.
