CALL FOR ACTORS! 

Upcoming auditions for “Dream Big,” a Yakima Symphony Orchestra and Warehouse Theatre Company partnership. 

Seven actors needed for Peter Boyer’s innovative piece for symphony orchestra, actors, and multimedia presentation Ellis Island: The Dream of America.

On Stage: Saturday, March 20, 2027 at 7:30PM Capitol Theatre

Audition Date: Sunday, August 9, 2026 at 6PM at Warehouse Theatre

Auditions conducted by Vance Jennings of the Warehouse Theatre Company and Sam McClung of the Yakima Symphony Orchestra

The project is a powerful symphonic event featuring soaring music interspersed with personal and moving stories of 19th-century immigrants recalling their arrival in America. 

This project calls for seven actors—4 women and 3 men—with the following specific accent requirements:

Story 1: Polish woman

Story 2: Greek man

Story 3: Italian woman

Story 4: Hungarian man

Story 5: Belgian woman (originally from Poland)

Story 6: Irish man

Story 7: Russian woman

• Casting is for actors age 25 and over at the time of audition
