IN THE PRESS | Summer Yakima chamber series finale previews temporary concert home at Davis High School
Yakima Herald-Republic wrights "at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 30, 2026, the Yakima Symphony Orchestra presents an exceptionally special concert: chamber music in our future home.
Beginning in fall 2027, our home base, The Capitol Theatre, will undergo renovation and temporarily close its doors. The symphony is proud to partner with the Yakima School District to present its entire 2027-28 season in the A.C. Davis High School Performing Arts Center.
While this shift is more than a year away, out of a deep devotion to and care for our beloved concertgoers, the Summer Chamber Music Series Finale Concert is strategically programmed at the Davis Performing Arts Center to give our patrons an opportunity to experience the symphony's future home."
