The Yakima Symphony Orchestra has introduced a new mission statement.
“Yakima Symphony Orchestra enriches, educates, and inspires the Yakima Valley through captivating concerts of classical and popular music,” reads the statement.
Executive Director Sam McClung noted that the updated statement reflects the orchestra’s significant growth over the past decade in size, quality, programming, and community impact.
