The Yakima Symphony Orchestra's annual Student Concerts, Traveling Tales, will take place on Friday, April 23rd 2027 at 9:45am and 11:15am. The Symphony is partnering with the Yakima Schools Foundation to provide transportation to these impactful concerts. Join us to enrich, educate, and inspire your students through the power of live classical music!

HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT REQUEST AND SUBMIT AN ATTENDANCE REQUEST

1. Click this link and log in.
2. Use the information below* to fill in your Yakima Schools Foundation Grant Request to receive bus funding for the Yakima Symphony Orchestra Student Concerts in April.
3. Submit an Attendance Request here to select your preferred performance time. Attendance is subject to availability and approved on a first come first served basis. Submissions will be accepted until February 28th, 2027. 
4. Upon approval of your Grant Request, please provide the YSO with the number of buses you will be using as parking is limited. If you are awaiting approval for your Grant Request, reply YSF when entering your Total Number of Buses.
5. The YSO will reach out to confirm your Attendance Request, preferred performance time, headcount, and number of buses. 

Please submit your Attendance and Grant Requests as soon as possible due to limited seating and parking availability. Attendance Requests will be accepted until February 28th, 2027.

• Grants are handled through the Yakima School District. The Yakima Symphony Orchestra will not have information regarding the status of your Grant Request.
• Attendance is only guaranteed once the Yakima Symphony Orchestra has reached out to confirm your preferred performance time, headcount, and number of buses following the submission of your Attendance Request. 
• Seating and Parking are limited and granted on a first come first served basis dependent on availability.
